Greetings, thank you for letting me comment. I’ve had a hotmail email account for well over 10 years, perhaps 15-20!! I receive dozens of emails daily, I have every person, organization email me at hotmail! For the first time ever I have no access. Been going on for 2 weeks ever since I had to have a new hard drive put on my computer. A new hard drive has nothing on it, can’t access Facebook, etc. either. Had immediate access to both for over 10 years, didn’t have to give passwords, just immediate access, now I do and don’t remember them? I can’t access my hotmail after I failed to give the right password 2 weeks ago? Have to get a new password, can’t find where or how to do it? Sorry for long message, hotmail is my favorite website because all my emails go there!

Greetings, left a message here almost a year ago and didn’t get any responses? I was particularly interested in exchanging comments with Hotmail personnel! I loved my Hotmail account, had been using it for over 15 years, had 1,000’s and 1,000’s of received emails! The hard drive on my computer had broken, had to get a new one and lost access to my Hotmail and Facebook accounts, my favorite accounts to use! I had been using the accounts for years without having to use the passwords I had put on them when I first opened them up! I have a back-up email address now, but very much want access to Hotmail, and Facebook, as soon as I can, been 16 months since I was on my all-time favorite accounts, sad situation!

The best part about this supremely borked system is that they send a new password (code) to a hotmail account you can’t get to because… YOU FORGOT THE PASSWORD.

I forgot my password. I try to reset my password, but though I have been taken through the process of customer support to reset it. It takes me to another page to confirm that it is me trying to set the password. And from there I still cannot go to my page.

Please help . have a new laptop and tried to get my emails so went onto google and hotmail, then it went to windows live? put in my email address and password which I know both are correct and message came back saying they were incorrect.
