A backing track player is usually necessary for anyone who would like to perform live on stage. Whether you are singing or playing an instrument, unless an entire band or orchestra is available your background music will come from a backing track player.
Generally speaking, the backing track player has changed in step with innovations in technology. In the 1980s and 1990s live performances were either recorded digitally onto a midi or recorded to a CD.

I want to play my backing tracks on my ipod touch. I have downloaded my song list via itunes to my ipod. My problem is that when the song is over it goes right to the next song without stopping. I would like the song to stop when it is over and possibly que the next song while a song is playing. I am planing to use the idj dual docking station with the ipod.
Thank you JOE
