15. Defrag the Android Device
Android devices can suffer from disc fragmentation over time similar to a Windows computer. If the phone or tablet is old, then an easy way to improve Android performance is to download and run a defrag app like SD Maid. Unlike the Greenify app that is used to suspend execution of applications, SD Maid is used to find orphaned memory on the Android disc. Once the app runs, the memory is freed, and the available storage space on the device will increase helping realize an overall improvement in performance.
