11. Use Microsoft Fix It on Older Windows Computers
The Microsoft Fix It Center (or Action Center) is a software application deployed by Microsoft to help Windows users fix issues with their computers for Windows 7 and older versions of the popular Operating System (OS). If there are existing issues with the computer, by running the software application the overall performance of the computer will be improved. Not all legacy editions of the Windows OS will have the helper application installed. To tell if you have the program on the computer, type “Microsoft Fix It” in the search text field located next to the Windows “Start” button. If the application appears, click it to follow the instructions to fix and repair performance issues on the computer.
