12. Keep Your Phone Cool
Literally keeping your cell phone cool will help significantly improve the overall battery life of the device. Not all mobile phone users understand that a battery will significantly lose power when stored in hotter temperatures. Instead of leaving the device in a car while working, turn it off and leave in a purse or backpack if the rules at your place of employment permit. If not, simply finding a cooler spot to store the phone without putting it at added risk of theft will work. When carrying the phone on your person, try to keep from sticking the device in the pants pocket. This will increase the ambient temperature of the phone and further drain the battery life.
