10. Create Application Shortcuts on the Desktop or Taskbar
While you can bookmark any page Chrome also allows you to create a desktop shortcut or a taskbar icon for any page you want. Then you can simply click on the shortcut to go straight to that page in any window.
The feature is called Application Shortcuts because it treats web pages as sort of apps, and is really meant for actual web applications.
You can do this by going to the Chrome menu > Tools > Create application shortcuts. Then you can choose if you want it on the Desktop, pinned to Taskbar, or both. Click “Create” and your shortcut is created.
