5. Water-Powered Clocks
The concept of time measured by water has been around for a very long time. Although early water clock models simply measured the outflow rate of the water being used, these days we’ve improved the concept to fit our technologically advanced lifestyles. Today’s water clock doesn’t use water movement as those in the past did. Instead, it’s powered by a little bit of water and some lemon juice. These make up an electrolyte solution that powers a galvanized cell battery for a green version of electricity. Water-powered clocks tend to be inexpensive and are better for the environment.
