      Nice free little test thanks

If you are considering taking the exam then you need to study more than you think you do.

I have failed the exam four times now, even though I was getting 90% on mock exams from Mindhub.
I was also getting 90% when using the test exams from the guide I bought.

You have to know a lot about powershell commands and various obscure setting in the all the subject areas it covers.

Some said these are not close the real MCSA exams and even though I agree, these are great for practise and learning purposes.

I took the test in April and failed. I am taking it again Monday. My experience the first time around is too use multiple study tools. No individual tool will get adequately prepare you. This exam is one of the tools I am using and I hope to see a practice exam for the 70-411 in the future.

I have only been studying for the 74-110 for about a week. So, I clearly have more studying to do.
I want to thank for this website. It is very ON POINT in its span of the Windows Server 2012 subject matter.
This is a great site to measure sensitivity points. The questions are thorough.

How many logical processors are supported by Microsoft Windows Server 2012?

      a) 256
      b) 320
      c) 640
      d) 1024

I would change this question to specify with or without hyper-v (see relevant technet article)

      Windows Server 2012 Maximums

      Windows Server 2012 x64 with Hyper-V Enabled

•Windows Server 2012 Standard Edition supports up to 64 sockets and up to 320 logical processors
•Windows Server 2012 Datacenter Edition supports up to 64 sockets and up to 320 logical processors

Windows Server 2012 without Hyper-V Enabled

•Windows Server 2012 Standard Edition supports up to 64 sockets and up to 640 logical processors
•Windows Server 2012 Datacenter Edition supports up to 64 sockets and up to 640 logical processors

These questions are nothing like the real 70-410 questions, the real ones are more complex and scenario based and there are no questions about the different versions of win server 2012 as it is irrelevant,i know because i recently got my MCSA (70-410+411+412),so don’t even look at these as an indication because not even one of those will be on the exam.

I’ve seen the Transcender practice tests and they seem very complex compared to what my book instructs and this test indicates. Are there some tests you’ve seen that are closer to the real test?

They seem to be pretty similar to questions on Mastering Windows Server 2012 R2 in my opinion.
Also, questions from here that are not on the book, reinforce some material that you might of skim through or forgotten. Good Luck.

What PowerShell command would you use to convert a Windows Server 2012 Server Core installation to the full GUI option?

      1) Install-WindowsFeature Server-Gui-Mgmt-Infra -Restart
      2) Install-WindowsFeature Server-Gui-Shell -Restart
      3) Install-WindowsFeature Server-Gui-Mgmt-Infra Server-Gui-Shell -Restart
      4) Install-WindowsFeature Server-Gui-Mgmt-Infra,Server-Gui-Shell -Restart

      2) is the correct answer unless you are looking for a minimal server installation, If so then 3) would be the correct answer. 4) However does not work at all. the ( , ) throws it off between Server-Gui-Mgmt-Infra and Server-Gui-Shell

wrong- the book says 4 is the correct answer. The (,) is indeed correct.

“To add the full GUI to a Server Core computer, you must use Windows PowerShell to install
the same features you removed in the previous procedure. To convert a Windows Server 2012 R2

      1) Install-WindowsFeature -Name Hyper-V -ComputerName -IncludeManagementTools -Restart
